Presentation of the book
Editor in chief S. Karner, A. Chubaryan. Moscow, Aspekt Press Publishing House, 2019.
The publication reflects the general view of scientists from Russia and Austria on the events of a common history from the end of the 15th century to the present day. The book discusses complex international problems: the European balance of power in the 18th century, the Napoleonic Wars, the collapse of empires and world wars of the 20th century, crises of the Cold War, and the challenges of our time. The book, conceived as a guide for history teachers and student historians, is intended for a wide range of readers.
The publication was financially supported by the Sochi Dialogue Russian-Austrian Civil Society Forum, the inaugural meeting of which took place on May 15, 2019 in Sochi in the presence of the presidents of both countries V.V. Putin and Alexander Van der Bellen.
